June Mendoza, 80, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 21, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Edmond Mendoza. Born in Fall River, MA she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Jeannette (Hamle) Travers.
June had worked as an assistant teacher for the Head Start Program.
She leaves behind eight children; Christine Carroll of Lincoln, Edmond Mendoza Jr. and his wife Christine of Pawtucket, Cynthia Travers and her fiance Peter Gomes of Pawtucket, Joseph Mendoza of Presque Isle Maine, Robert Mendoza and his wife Johnna of Johnston, Cheryl Coelho and her husband Walter of Pawtucket, Gilbert Mendoza and his wife Lisa of Johnston, William Mendoza of Pawtucket and the late Linda McGee of Pawtucket. She is also survived by a sister, Lorraine Lariviere of Millbury, MA, 17 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was also Grandmother to the late Derek Mendoza.
